I wouldn’t generally say I have a fear of heights, and I’ve done cableway-type rides at amusement parks or ski lifts, but that looks uncomfortably high to me. Maybe the compressed speed of the time lapse exacerbates the effect.
Maybe, but we don’t like the thought of feeling “trapped” upstairs if an emergency like a fire happened. If we can move someplace less expensive we might also be able to afford a pool, which has been beneficial but harder to do when you have to drive 20 minutes each way to the gym.
We signed a contract to build a house in February 2020, got the pre-pandemic pricing and the pandemic mortgage rate when we closed that fall. Now we’re needing to move to get a one-story house because of health problems my wife and step-daughter have. Our house has gone up in value but so has everything else around here, and with mortgage rates more than doubled we can’t really afford this area anymore.
Something about that patch on the back really brings it together for me
I worked a data entry job at an investment firm while I was in college, and they had one client that really annoyed them because every morning he’d call in wanting to buy a stock he had a “hot tip” on that would invariably turn out to be something Cramer had been hyping the night before.
I don’t recognize Premium Unleaded; who is that?
Oh, all I saw was him pulling out more and more of these noise tubes and her yelling at him. Throwing a bug zapper is past “just a prank, bro!” territory!
