Heh, I know and believe me there are times when I roll my eyes so hard from the typical “Cali” goofiness.
Yep, so proud, huh? This “you” and “we” thing again. That’s the problem. People = people. Being so enclosed, tribalist doesn’t help anyone.
You’d be more pissed the Wildcats lost to the Wolverines (I don’t follow LA teams) than I moved to a city on the coast.
If I sat next to you in a diner, you would have no idea where I live now. I grew up in the Midwest.
“You people”. Heh, wow.
Got it! I imagine if Cali knocked it down a fraction of a point it would be the entire population of Kansas though just be shear numbers.
re: unemployment rate: Source? Re:.English. Heh, I would think being a monoglot is a detriment in a globalized world but to each his own
I hope so!
Unless the EU or other countries create their own regional Internet which countries are starting to move to (looking at you China).
US owns all the base IP servers of the internet aka “the pipes”. If it turns into a shit show, it’ll ripple down to everyone eventually.
All good! I’m now working on the new Spider-man game at Insomniac. Pretty pumped!
Took EA many years to finally get the SW game go ahead and by that time Pandemic was no more...
Well, we eventually got bought by EA so we weren’t 3rd party anymore and that probably killed it.
Thanks!
It’s interesting to see devs ended up in places after that: Bungie, 343, Sony Santa Monica. Lucky to work w/ such talented peeps.
Actually, heh, I also worked at Volition before Pandemic so I helped a little of the original RF (I was on Summoner almost full-time).
Yeah, I hear ya. Pub to Pub. Just wanted to put that asterisk/footnote there for a shout out to fellow Pandemites.
Sweet! Actually, yep! I was on Saboteur team. I left about 6 months out though and missed the EA buyout/closing shop.
Lucasarts? It was Pandemic, you goofballs! (LucasArts was the publisher. I used to work at Pandemic - not on that team though.)
They just sell incredibly well..regardless and the proceeds keep EA afloat. (shrug)
FIFA, Madden, Battlefield,
Thanks, IsItUsed!
Thanks, MechaNinja!
Not saying you personally but I know plenty high edu. people from home in Midwest who’s belief system, pretty vile. Upbringing too strong.
Education =! Lack of willful ignorance. Some studies say the higher the education, the more rooted in beliefs that could be wrong.

On his bad movie: Have never seen it, by all accounts, terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific - M. Caine
