This happened to me when I had my daughter. Back then they let me pay at the uninsured rate and shortly after they stopped allowing it. For us it was a case rate and the insurance cost was 7k while the uninsured cost was $1200. Fuck this bullshit.

Thank you so much. I developed sepsis days after my third child was born and I was so weak but these donations helped my baby through until I was able to nurse again. These are amazing people.

#13 pretty funny, but for context this 2014 storm was an Ice storm that took out trees and left us without power for a week. Not much snow but icy af. (I grew up in Maine so i've seen snow. This storm was bad)
