Disagree. If I ask an employee to send something during the day (assuming not much prep), they should be available to send it.
Can an international company say that no one can work from Portugal or can their remote workers just move there and get the benefits?

Your math is wrong. Inflation after 18 months is ballpark 3%. A 50ct raise on min wage is double inflation loses, not a pay cut.
I also do a lot of hiring and NEVER read them. Ain't got time for that s*@#.
The question is about what a person does in that role, not what the manager does. Why wouldn't they describe what the team does?

I think it's helpful to remember that they are on a spectrum. Just because someone isn't as bad as you, doesn't mean they aren't impacted.

My factory is having trouble finding folks for $20/hr + full benefits. Anyone making less than $15/hr nowdays should look for a new job.
