Using GMO tech to get higher yields or grow in new places is good. Monsanto using them to effectively DRM their seeds is bad.
"GMOs" are just a technology. On their own they're neutral. How we use them makes them positive or negative.

When someone builds a pipe to the sun to boil water, they're not going to call that technology "solar energy."
This is wrong. Super wrong. Nuclear energy generates heat to boil water and spin a turbine. Solar energy relies on a photovoltaic.
