Don’t take criticism from someone you wouldn’t ask for advice.
Same here.Ever wonder what is the price of human dignity? Apparently mine is around $3,427.
He's the closest thing we have to a real life mad scientist
just my type
Wait, what about Jim Breuer?
That's exactly what it's for. I want to try it but haven't worked up the courage.https://wokmon.com/
I haven't even heard of it! But now it's on the list so I'll get a copy. The last two scifi novels I read were Children of Time and A Memory Called Empire, both of which are excellent.
Thank you. I loved the first book so much, I don't know how I missed the sequels. They're now officially on my TBR list.
Also check out The Book of the New Sun by the same author, Gene Wolfe. I don't know if it's in the same universe as the others, but it's 10/10 classic scifi.
I love both chocolate AND pickles but I'm going sit this one out...
I got downvoted last time I saw this one b/c I said it would be a miserable experience for me. Nothing's changed, though. It would still suck... can you imagine how loud it would be inside a giant metal tube?
It's possible the water level is lower in a drier season.
Oh, and if/when those profits drop, private equity is happy to extract their investments and let the businesses die, a la Party City and Red Lobster.
No idea if it's really true but I've heard from two different people who live in Vegas that what you're talking about is hotels/casinos run by the mob vs. private equity. The mobsters were happy subsidize food and room costs if it helped rake in millions in casino profits. Private equity is only interested in making as much money as possible from every avenue possible.
I think OP may be referring to ex-Dr. Andrew Wakefield, the guy that started the modern anti-vax movement with bad research that falsely suggested that the MMR vaccine caused autism. The paper was later retracted after the flaws became apparent.
Jondor, beautiful
This lady eats like a python. I am letting myself believe she eats four whole boiled eggs and then lies in the sun for six hours.
As someone who was once drunk enough to pee into a campfire, I can verify the steam part. It is uniquely gross.
That's a well-kept dog - his fur looks great.
Women Are Born With Pain Built In would be an awesome Liz Phair album name
If I had to guess the product's purpose based on the name alone, I would have chosen something very different. I suppose that says more about me than the product.

The only thing that helped me was meditation and practicing mindfulness. Observing your thoughts and letting them go without attaching any real meaning is a skill that comes more easily to some than others. It takes time. Try to be patient and not be too hard on yourself - the world is pretty fucked up right now and you deserve some peace.
We had 'Bush league' for a while but even that seems insufficient these days
#5 This is like a nightmare. Flying is extremely stressful, delays are worse, and now there's crazy loud music reverberating through a metal tube from which you cannot escape.I get they're trying to improve a bad situation but I would hate it.
That's true. The libertarians I knew back in college were basically republicans who wanted to smoke weed.
Current? When have libertarians ever wanted anything else?
I forgot to add: the woman in this picture is also beautiful.but, damn... fifteen years later and NP is still affecting my brain.
I once bumped into Natalie Portman walking into a bougie grocery store in San Francisco. My brain just... stopped working. I didn't move, I couldn't say anything, and I'm sure my facial expression was just blank. She just smiled politely and walked around me. I have to assume this happens to her daily and she regularly walks around frozen statues of dumbfounded men.I had never seen anything or anyone that beautiful in person and I guess I won't ever again. She's literally stunning.
I've always loved looking at the stars
