You're probably correct. I just think we need to do all we can to protect our elected officials, regardless of political affiliation.
But don't you think we should protect our Representatives and Senators from the harm that's inherent in their positions?
Using that reasoning, do you believe the President (regardless of who it is at the time) should pay his own protection costs as well?
Did you already forget about the Congressional softball practice shooting just last year? They are in high risk scenarios every day.

Also, ask for a supervisor at the police station. It's unacceptable that they refused to investigate this. I'm a prosecutor in VA.
You should consider going to the prosecutor's office. There may be a victim witness advocate there who can help you.
My local Chinese place gives me a Christmas gift every year. I think I have a problem.
I take it there wasn't a prosecutor there? Easy objection. This "evidence" would require an expert to be admissible.
You need to get a sleep study. You don't want to die in your sleep. I have SA. The CPAP isn't bad. I have nasal pillows. Light and easy.
The swearing-in ceremony is a part of the inauguration.
The criminal justice system is not all about punishing people. It should rehabilitate. This judge is humanizing justice. I applaud him.
