Overly British, male, geeky with a mildly twisted - and highly sarcastic - sense of humour. Want to know more? Ask! If someone screenshots this and gets it to the FP, I'll do... absolutely nothing. Carry on.

Fur democracy, in this case.

I’d like to think food safety is one of the sacred cows that even a ‘bonfire of regulations’ can’t touch. Time will tell, I would imagine.

We also, thanks to EU regulations, have far higher food safety standards than the US. Ours haven’t been watered down by lobbying, after all.

Spite charity is a wonderful concept. “Fuck you all, I’m feeding the hungry and housing the homeless” - it still gets the job done.

I see a BSoD a couple of times a year; almost always because Ubisoft Connect has shat a brick and taken the whole system with it.

Agreed, with a caveat that it’d likely push retail prices up, which’d be bad for lower-income consumers. Also fixable, but complicated.

I saw that interview, yep; that’ll be cute I’m sure! Interesting to see how that affects Mariner’s character development.

Poor communication kills. Also, how did they end up in this situation in the first place? The mind, it boggles.

Connery and Brosnan tied for top place IMO, with Dalton taking the bronze. Each to their own of course; it’s just a movie series after all.

Solari boards are magnificent things. I miss them being the standard in rail stations and airports. The sound is just… glorious.

Ahh, Windows Media Player. Trippy visualisations aside, it’d only get used until the Winamp download finished.

I suspect it’s less that, more that the staffing budget for infrastructure inspectors is secondary to the defence budget. No $ = no staff.

The last VHS, and first DVD, I ever bought. Still one of my all-time favourite films.

Amateur; everyone knows you let the side chick in and out by the side door, not the front door. It’s right there in the name!

In the Before Times I’d pick up those trains at East Croydon... very familiar with those rush hours! I don’t miss them one bit.

Bring back British Rail... it ran better, and cost less to the taxpayer, as well as passengers!

To be honest, the 1923-1948 incarnation of Southern Railway quite probably puts the 2004-Present incarnation of Southern Railway to shame...

Used to work in Canary Wharf; one time the 501st Legion were charity fundraising in the tube station, aka Scarif Base, which tickled me.

Each to their own; personally more a fan of the Deltic!
