As a young girl I looked up to Esmeralda. Her and Meg from Hercules specifically. Frollo was a great example of what narcissistic parents are like in how he treated Quasimodo and Esmeralda. So yeah, fuck Frollo.

We don’t know if the mom asked the kid first if it was okay to tell the dad. I personally ask my son permission to share things and then with that permission will give my ex a heads up about what our son wants to talk with him about or tell him the thing depending on what my son gives the okay with.

See, I wish all, if not most dads were like this. my dad told my husband “no returns even with the receipt” or some bullshit like that.

I feel you. My four year old’s dad is autistic (high functioning), I’m ADHD, we both struggled as kids, and our son shows signs of both ADHD and autism. I feel as though I constantly get dismissed by people even family about it. It’s so frustrating. My heart goes out to you. Good luck with your little one.

It gets easier in some ways because it becomes so different. I always think of that Bluey episode - we all fail mom school sometimes

Umm I’d tune in to watch said flow and to jot down the recipe, just saying. Then I’d end up burning down my kitchen trying to replicate it.
