I have this same problem but the prilosec and other shit didn't help. Also you can't take that crap forever. See a GI doc, surgery may be an option. Also may need to change your diet. If the meds stop helping.

People act like sterilizing all outdoor cats is the end of the species - bitch we can get them overseas. You know how many cats there are dying in third world countries who can't afford to sterilize? This. I am absolutely for any kind of scalable solution that can be introduced to massive cat populations via food or other cheaper which sterilizes them. Whether this is scalable, affordable, or capable of being deployed more easily than spay/neuter, we'll see
