Malaysia makes a domestic version of the M4 under license from Colt. Might be what we're seeing
$2.10 USD/gallon
Holy shit, also at a Sinclair station
No collector value. Previous owner already chopped the stock, broke the handguard, and brazed on a Polychoke. Cheap basis for an SBS project
My collection is focused on historical arms, but I have room for "just for fun" stuff too
Right now the shotgun lacks a useful feature to aim slugs (sights). Rifled slugs are useful out to about 100 yards in my experience though
Long-recoil is cool as hell, and luckily you can still find these for very cheap in pretty much any given gun store
It's true, the shotgun is definitely more of a range toy than anything
Yes, I had to pay a $200 tax to the ATF and wait about a year for the paperwork to be approved before I could make this
This is a long-recoil operated shotgun, so no gas system at all. No cycling issues so far
So far I've only taken it to the range to confirm that it cycles, but I wouldn't expect the shot pattern to be effective beyond 50 yards
