After posting on reddit, these were apparently made by the Applause company. I have managed to find versions of Han, Chewie + the Empower on line but none for sale.

I haven't been able to find any info on the OT character figures. Lots of stuff online from their Ep. 1 memorabilia , but nothing yet on these what I am assuming are older ones.

new owner was 100% planning to raise rates before even purchasing it. most likely the whole reason for purchasing the business in the first place. this is how the world works, sorry its not exploitative, its business. why else would someone start or buy a business than to make money. now after a indefinite amount of time he will have the resources to built an additional storage Whse.

a new owner raising prices to make more money is a perfectly acceptable reason and not exploitation when you see that he has rented out 100% of his space. had he raised them and only had 50% occupancy then maybe i would understand your perspective.

Disagree, exploitation simply means to take unfair advantage of a person. Getting fair market price for a good or service is not taking unfair advantage. The new owner simply refused to continue the discount price the previous owner gave.

yeah i don't agree when it comes to something that's a need, i don't see storage of junk as being important.

i'm not calling someone bad names on the internet, abrasive i can accept though.

not at all, storage space is not a need or a right.. sell/get rid of the stuff. never pay someone to store it for you.

in my experience it is when people have too much stuff

Guess he should just let people store their stuff there for free? 100% full means his price could/should go even higher. This isn't housing or something important to people's survival...if you can afford to rent a storage site you are doing better than the majority of the country in my opinion.

that's why we aren't getting anywhere imo. people with 20yrs training/experience getting on board with making the same $ as newbies

Anyone thought of starting with a bump for the special skills group to get more of the current middle class onboard?

Not a great example, would work if they had developed the covid vaccine(apple) from the flu vaccine(android)

also part of my summer temp work was to wake people up from a nearby hiding spot where several guys went to take naps each night

unions have their place , but also need to be reined in when it comes to protecting bad workers

We are talking about mid to late 70's. my own father quit teaching public school to go to work in the factory to 3x his pay.

Flip the coin, Toys is gone. Personally I blame UAW in my area for driving h.s. diploma level pay too high and factories moved out of usa.

Not a very good comparison for the U.S. It would be as if some cars were not allowed on the roads at all and others had no restrictions.
