Yeah, people confuse him saying things that aren't true with him being wrong. Likewise, they confuse him saying ridiculous things with him thinking those things are believable. Instead, in both cases he doesn't care. He knows that "his" people will buy it whatever he says, so there's no need to make up a better lie.

Is this still happening?

You ask him for it.

They say he has to pick one, he decided to just reject the premise right away. I'm saying there is value in hanging there. To be clear, I'm not saying he did anything wrong, and in the moment I certainly wouldn't have done as well as him. Just saying that it's a thing that would have been worth highlighting, and that you can do so without getting wordy.

The question is rhetorical sure, but asking it and having them not answer is valuable. "You can't have both.", "Why not?", "It's a hypothetical?", "I don't understand, what stops both?" Eventually he'll dodge entirely or say it's arbitrary. Again, either is valuable.

Did you watch the video? The section you're talking about is a process that would cause the Grand Canyon to be carved at a rate of 1000 feet per million years. So he's arguing it's ~5.3 million years old.

Right, "allowed" in this case is as in social norms. Leally speaking, you're "allowed" to go into work without showering, but don't expect it to end well if you work in a formal environment, private or government.

Depends on the speech. "I think X is/was a good president," sure. Spicier stuff like Let's go Brandon or guillotine jokes, not so much. It's almost like you would need to apply your human intelligence to figuring out what's appropriate in a social situation.

Yeah, it loses a lot of impact if you watch the clock and notice that the time lapse covers 9 minutes.

He said, "Will you defeat them? Your demons, and all the non-believers. The plans that they have made?"

Dumping the drinks isn't really the problem. It's shutting everything down while they get replaced that would be the killer. Even if we assume the hour in the story is an exaggeration and instead it took 15 minutes, imagine someone crying wolf 5 times on a Friday night.

You have to be careful, get overzealous and there's white stuff to clean up everywhere.

You know what's wrong with punching Nazis?

It was a bit that. It was arguably more about the fact that the EC breaks up the election by Congressional seats. So the 3/5th's compromise would allow voters in states with large slave populations to have their vote count for more. It always comes back to slavery in America is what I'm saying.

It's this. The lawsuit claimed 35%, they claimed 88%. The lawsuit died after three months without settling or a verdict.

But, seriously, the dart scene. It's nice when he wins Trent over, but the dart scene is something special.

Wait, did you think about half of the current population was born between 1946 and 1954? Like that most Americans are retired? Wow.
