Lex’s leash a few times fumbling with things on our walk and he never noticed and/or tried to run. And when we walk, if he does see a rabbit
When I adopted my guy I had to sign a contract stating I’d never walk him off leash in a non-enclosed area. But I’ve accidentally dropped
Retired racer here as well!! Love him, except he’s quite clumsy so he gives me a lot of grief lol

I’ve found the same whenever I tried making friends through group things or hobbies.

2/2 But the judging stares from people and other dog walkers gets tiring. Oh well...Doesn’t matter as long as everyone’s safe.
I do this with my rescue too. He’s used to the basket muzzle because they’d have it on him at the track (all greys have to wear them). 1/2
