Absolutely NOT denying that. But swerving is a thing you can do in a heartbeat and mitigate direct collisions.
Attacking mail-in voting is attacking the military vote. I wish more people would make that comparison and make it loud. Why would republicans not support the military voting?
I mean, swerving is a thing. I'd rather go into the ditch having tried to avoid then just keep going in a straight line.
When Yemen decides to cut off the Bab al-Mandab Straight (south end of the Red Sea, south of the Suez Canal) or Egypt decides to deny US bound ships passage thru the Suez, or if Malaysia decides to be a player and cut off the Straight of Malacca (where eastbound ships leaving the Indian Ocean go to hit the Pacific) THEN we will see some crazy shit happening and some insane price increases.

A president can be PARTIALLY responsible. Biden had some impact and options, but when Russia attacked Ukraine, he had zero control over the reasons the prices raised. Trump initiating the war with Iran absolutely caused these prices to rise.

I legit fear there's 'tactical nuke' discussions happening at high levels and that they actually think any of those plans are feasible or survivable.

Not to mention over half the worlds fertilizer is shipped through Hormuz. The the US has about 30% of its fertilizer imported. SOooooo, not only are crops going to suffer because there's not enough fertilizer for them, so prices for that are going to be crazy. ON TOP OF THAT, migrant labor will be wildly reduced in the US this season, so crops will be less plentiful. ON TOP OF THAT, diesel fuel is VERY expensive so getting crops to stores will be more expensive. SO. MUCH. WINNING.
So they can't talk about the work... and don't seem to be DOING any work... so really what the actual fuck are they doing except getting paid by the federal government and wasting our tax dollars?

Which is why it's imperative to invest in BETTER battery technologies. Damn, do you think just because the first generations of something are inefficient (as they always are) that people should just give up? Where would any of us be if we did that? Besides, if even coal-rhetoric TEXAS can install more solar, wind, and battery storage than any other state in the nation in the last 6 years, I think it's a feasible technology stack.
It's been like 2 days. Give it time.
