Quite possible. I've played more League than Dota, but Dota always felt more drawn out to me. Possibly just my perception.
Dota is much more complex, there are more strategies and metas to memorize and watch out for. League is just a turbo version of that.
I happen to dislike both of those games, because their fan-base is horrific, but facts are facts.
First off, League has way more players than Dota ever had, secondly they're fundamentally the same game, League is just simpler and faster.
