When called out for their actions, its always the response of “thats not who I am or about” that gets me.
I was looking for this comment. Thanks for not letting me down
So, are the ones downvoting this the same ones that use this tactic and don’t like there secret being spilled?
Nice
Sheeeesh
Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate you taking the time to write this and help me understand how to better deal with the grief
Thank you for the kind words. Its about the only train of thought getting me through this
With her traumatic background, we wouldn’t be able to afford the training that was offered here.it was one of our first go to options
2) ...family members had passed away. They way she looked at me when i handed her off (confused) tore me apart in a way i have never felt
This is exactly how i have been feeling. She wasnt just a pet, she was my best friend and am grieving in a way that i havent when
because she is barky and protective, is one of the main reasons we didnt want to just sneak her on base and hope for the best.
Its that exact, prevailing thought that has given me some form of comfort in all of this
Thank you for your kind words. Im just thankfully that she is safe and loved :)
It is. The world has this horrible depiction of pitbulls because they have been used for all the wrong reasons and now we pay the price
Thank you for the kind words :)
Thank you for the kind words. They are much needed and appreciated :)
Thats her greying out, but shes not old.She is the one we had to re-home. Didnt know how to post pics in the comments so i uploaded here
She had a tendency to bark at people through the window, passing by but she would immediately attack you with hugs and kisses
Omg she looks just like yours!!! Me and the wife decided that when i get close to retirement or after that we would only adopt from shelters
The areas outside base is no the best for our kids
Thank you for this
That they brought in and upon looking at her you can see the pit in her
is half black lab and half America Staffordshire terrier which is a no go. The vet office would put put lab mix but the next base requires
Despite her very much looking like a pitbull, we got a DNA test to see if MAYBE we could find an out, but that waas a no go. Turns out she
I can go to restrict her breed
