My biggest reason for doing pelvic floor therapy was because for about a year to 2 years after my surgery, Sex hurt like a bitch and there was no way I was going to just accept that. Obviously everyone's recovery is different, but it really made a huge difference for me at least
I had my total hysterectomy done 10 years ago in my early 30s. Undiagnosed endometriosis for decades. Things kept getting worse until I couldn't take it anymore. I recommend considering pelvic floor therapy after a surgery like this
