Joints at their bases, so that they could "wave" in response to the wind. They were kind of cool to look at. Regularly lined up, but -3
Pattern. Located in downtown near a trendy place to walk and look at the river. It was called "wheat", and the poles all had flexible -2
There was a cool art thing in my town. It was just a bunch of tall white flagpole type things, about fifty arranged nicely in a square -1

You did great! This could have been a crappy photo at a different time of day, so you got that part right: lighting! Plus the no clouds.
It was beautiful and restful when it wasn't super tense and dramatic! I thought they really nailed the "why are we doing this?"
Idea: join some different clubs. Volunteer with different things. Get exposed to lots of different people and find some you click with.

Days in a year is tricky. Can't do too much about that one!
