Pressure cooker (lid off). I think a crock pot would work for the mash, but the boil needs higher temperatures.

For me, it depends on the game. Some things don't require a high performance level. There is nothing wrong with "casual" gaming.
choose my game from a list. No booting into windows or using a mouse, etc. Especially for more casual games (think mario party) (4)
to boot up just so I can have my games on the TV. I want to be able to pick up a controller, press one button to turn everything on, and (3)
For me, although I game on PC a fair amount, I prefer consoles for certain games, mostly for convenience. I don't want an extra PC (2)
I'm aware that a PC can perform better for less money. I am not arguing against that at all. But consoles have some advantages as well. (1)
...of course I'm aware of these things. But they don't increase the convenience to console level.
I'm aware of how my mac works. But I prefer my two-button mouse (less feeling of repetitive strain for right click).
As a mac user, this is one of the few things I find annoying.
