I'm glad you were able to let go of that. Honestly, I just find it hard to explain to my LDS friends that I really AM happier now.
miserable and hollow once you leave and can't imagine you are happy. But number 7 esp hit me - I love not having to feel PERFECT. Relief.
I know this comment will probably get lost, but I had similar experiences with leaving the church. Mormons always do think you will be 1/2
Not sure you will read this, but I have been there and it was terrible. But now I am with someone better for me and I am so happy.
It is a neuron (although I an forgiving of those who said synapse - close). I have a BSc in neuroscience and thought it suited me.
