That's Windwaker.
No.
There's a whole committee you have to convince that the person is deserving of a star
Contrast and angular shapes are easiest to track with motion-tracking software, and can also serve as reference for the angle of the surface
Trust me, everyone in film has a story about something like this.
Yyyeaaahhh, Wipeout!!
Is it just my cynicism, or are these really low-effort?
You want to post ads? Go buy ad space, and fuck off!
It was dying long before that.
Also had some of the most impressive VFX to date. Some pivotal shots of Logan and the villain (no spoilers) were cg actors.
You shut the fuck up with this "midichlorian" heresy talk.
The Stick and Find wouldn't work. Bluetooth receivers have no concept of direction, only signal strength, and it's not that accurate
I had the same thought. It looks like someone's holding it out on poles tho, so they'd just let go if he came in too hot.
I had the great pleasure of working with him on a show. He's the best.
I wipe the Failure off with a rag of Doing-Banal-Chores-To-Feel-Productive. It helps keep the gear shiny, and my misery suppressed.

I disagree with the sand boa being easy. They're not too aggressive, but they are finicky. Ball pythons are easier
I missed one of Pendulum's last shows in Los Angeles before I really knew how good they were. I will always regret not going to that show
Ehhhh, I can't say as I agree with you on all of these points. Certainly not that making it easier to create FX makes them inherently worse
How do you define utilitarian vs. art for something like this? Srs question. The matte painting above is there to service the movie.
Right. Because no films pre-1995 ever used techniques poorly.
I guarantee that YOU have seen modern-CGI matte paintings that look as good as that, and didn't realize it.
Zodiac is the same thing: TONS of cgi, almost all used for set extension, or adding subtle character to scenes.
Wait, why don't the usernames match?
