The 2 parties aren't the same. Waving a blanket statement at them and pretending they are is lazy and out dated
Your point was american politics is polarized. It is. My point is one side is objectively worse and the "both sides" line is tired.
Because they pander to those identities. They form a sense of "community" by prioritizing the same things/holding the same beliefs.
