I can't get no sleep! Just as good now as it was in the 90s.
The point of this statement is to get oppressed poor people to band together in a united mission instead of being split into partisan factions which helps Trump. Most of his followers are oppressed poor people who have been so brainwashed by the right that they don't even act in their own self interest.
Telling people they're evil doesn't work because no one believes they are evil. Every person alive justifies their own behavior to themselves. People don't change their ways through being yelled at or insulted. They change through outreach, connection, education, and personal experience. Or they will never change their behavior and just have to be restrained from hurting others.
Can we get Eiders next?
Speak up how? To who? How is the internet going to accomplish something that matters? The power has already been grabbed. It's not 1776 and a group of plucky folks with muskets can't just take back the country. This country exists to make money, and no one at the top of that process (the people with actual power) will lift a finger to jeopardize their own wealth and comfort. The only way to turn this tide is if the rich decide he's going to hurt them.
