That's because they add a detergent to the fuel and actually maintain tanks at stations. Used to be one of their Big marketing points.

Most of them yeah. Dealerships love the OnStar feature set allowing them to make reposession easier if you stop payments.

And I should have added quotes around that 'applied geometry' is likely an actual course that you could take at a local college.

It's almost all applied Geometry.

If the 40K version of maglev works anything like the real world version The Gap is extremely small. Inverse square law affects magnetism too

#42 just in case it helps anyone: if you have these bumps you should speak to a geneticist. You may have a connective tissue disorder.

The point is that you don't implement the kill switch as part of the LLM....

Yeah, but that's lead poisoning, not radiation. (Most reactors have security who will shoot you if you are doing something dumb before you can present a risk to the facility)

#53 I completely blew my parent's mind when I told them 'Hell yes I'm jumping... My friends aren't stupid. If they start jumping off of a bridge, there's probably a train I haven't noticed yet.'

Incidentally he didn't get the job, since 'attention to detail' is a mission critical skill for us.

Yep I almost had a candidate for a position I'm helping with interviews on get passed up because of this. The guy is almost 30 years of experience in the industry, the AI modified some of the dates and it ended up looking like he only had 10, and just lying about starting as a C-level.

To add to the other comments, conditions that can require gallbladder removal tends to also cause pancreatitis. Pancreatitis is very, very, bad; and pancreatic failure is lethal. To quote my surgeon: 'we do not want to f*** with the pancreas'. I spent two months with a bile drain in my side and an -ostomy bag while waiting to have my gallbladder out because of pancreatitis.

My wife and I were actually discussing this the other day. The only natural disaster we have not lived through at this point is a substantial earthquake, and the only non-natural thing we have not experienced is war. I really don't want to fill the rest of that bingo card, but I won't be surprised if it happens.

Exactly. And at least this time we get to see it coming...

About 1/2 of a glass would cover that. The impact to set the tap also stirs up the dead yeast in the bottom, so you pull until it runs clear

"Should we start failing over to site-B? That's going to cause a 2 hour outage, what if 'vendor' fixes it in 10m?" Rinse and repeat for 3hrs

Sometimes leadership is unwilling to authorize whatever the 'fix' is, and it takes a senior engineer yelling at people to get them to move..

The people planning all of this chose to move early thanks to Trump's insane popularity with certain demographics.
Sadly, whether or not that was a mistake still remains to be seen.
