And I am really sorry that LGBT people see this as a personal afront on their lives. I am not even opposed to the teachers talking about all different kinds of families, teaching people to be kind and compassionate to everyone regardless of sexual orientation and class and race etc, I teach my kids this. But in your opinion does the content of those 4 books belong in a school?
As I have said before, I think that there was a lot of excess on both sides. One one side, banning books because two bunnies of the same sex love each other is retarded. On the other side, what the actual fuck? I was legit shocked when I saw the content of some of these books. Everything in our era from tv to social media sexualizes children WAY too early and it is hard to keep kids out of harms way. It is absolutely the job of the parents to monitor and raise very loud alerts when this occurs.

Instructions on how to perform sexual acts has never been nor will it ever be sex education. Sex education is in the interest of health and safety.
