Do you mean the US and Isr administrations are looney?
CitiGroup basically staffed his first administration, he was beholden to so much of wallstreet for financing his campaign and that of his congressional majority. The element that makes me unwilling to give him grace is the early bailouts for all those economic actors who triggered the financial meltdown. Maybe he couldn't have punished them through legislation and prosecution, but financing their mistake for a profit is pretty inexcusable.
No but it outlines how much of a failure it was with regards to their rhetoric at the time. "We're bombing it to help the libyan people" turns the highest standard of living in africa to a failed state with a thriving slave commerce. Killing people abroad is bad and understood, this is a lesser known aspect of that military campaign.
He passed a policy stating every collateral male victim above 15 was to be considered an enemy combatant regardless of his actual status, just to lower the count of innocent victims from his expanded bombing campaigns. This uplifting message is, for anyone who thought this was already beyond the pail at the time, just papering over a legacy of blood.
"I'll tell ya, sometimes it's hard to have faith and hope our leaders will behave in accordance with the law and our principles"Obama wasn't a trump worthy disaster but with the benefit of hindsight its hard not to see his absuses of power as setting the stage for today's abuses of power.
*Bombs the shit out of lybia destroying the highest standard of living in africa, begins bombing 7 countries, assassinates American citizens without due process, refuses to hold US executives for crimes of torture, Signs a presidential finding to fund al qaeda in Syria*
I dont think any of them are truly competitive. The technology is just not standardized enough and everyone understands the value of owning your damn hardware when the software is made so fluidly usable by steam.
Kinda proves my point the market for components will remain way higher than the market for cloud gaming. Damn Nvidia sucks right now. I'm babying my shield like a rare egg,
I dont think those will scale really well, peoples internet connections will make the service inconsistent and the demands of 4k gaming which unlike video streaming is becoming common, is going to make their servers shit the bed.

Can;t sum it all up in 500 char, but Mc-cain going on the news and saying he was convince Shia and Sunni would get along in a post saddham world was a piece of art. The germans contradicting the US anthrax claims were pretty funny, considering they had sold Saddham the gas he used on the northern kurds.
Some from germany, the bigger case came from a whistleblower who said Niger uranium had been sold as yellowcake to iraq. The french knew it was bullshit, they told the us as much. US still used this intel as evidence. It's documented now that they actually workshopped a justification for the war, they wanted it, didnt matter what the reason they would use to sell it was.

It was 2 neptune missiles, and they are designed to drop below 40 meters of altitude on approach to target. The moskva was probably nothing to write about in general. But I think this is more of an example of how efficient missile tech is VS Anti-missile tech. The Iranian bombardments of Israel are a good example, not even low altitude missiles and i daresay hundreds seem to have hit the ground. Every navy is in serious trouble right now.
That's either the Ukrainian or British MODs, the russian one i havent seen make a single statement on losses. If you take Media-zona/bbcs collab as the bottom of the fork and UkrMOD as the top all we can say for certain is russian losses are between 100 000 and 900 000
Legally conscript can only be used on russia's official territory, but this now includes the 4 oblast they annexed. So I think they could use them on the theater of combat without running into legal troubles. But my sense is that russian losses are actually much lower than what the EU and Ukrainians claim and therefore they probably dont need to resort to that yet.
They call it sanctified grounds, nobody should be under any illusion that this extends an inch beyond the rhine river.
