Once, when my daughter was 3, I picked her up from school in the dead of winter in Wisconsin. We step outside and she looks me dead in the eyes and said "it's fucking cold, dad." I burst out laughing. Turns out that was the wrong response.

That's amazing! I love me some janky gear. After my dad passed, I went through a ton of his old gear. Rewired a crazy old distortion pedal that uses a 9V battery. It kicks ass when it decides to work!
I've had that same bass since 2002. There's a chip in the paint on the back that I've filled in with sharpie. And yes, it's prolly time to add some stickers in the mix.
