Twenty-three year old female Canadian; probably supports something you hate. It's cool though, we can bond over our love of video games and American Horror Story!

Eugh that short stint where they took him out of net though, I was screaming at the tv.

I heard that the success rate for achieving a normal BMI after bariatric surgery was pretty low; any word on that?

But what about the body? I have some really disturbing entities in my dreams; I use them to create original stuff. Never seen 'em before.

Looks like it froze to death?

That's like asking why Iron Man had rollerblades in one of his suits.

It's a pun; 'tomato' sounds like 'to mah/my toe', so 'from my head to my toe'.

Because she's from Houston and to really emphasize that life is precious/can be gone in a second/etc. Song has a lot of rocket imagery, too.

"Farm Forward calculation based on U.S. Department of Agriculture, 2002 Census of Agriculture, June 2004; and ibid." (1/2)

Ah, that's fair then. :>

I thought it was funny when some were mad because it was the NATIONAL ANTHEM (no it wasn't) given ours has been bilingual since forever.

To be fair, what Quebec does in terms of enforcing French comes across as what America does with English, at least to someone not from there

Don't know why you guys got downvoted (though I'd argue Bloc Quebecois is more nationalist than Conservative).

I think aborigines is only for Australians. We use aboriginal or native Canadian, last I heard. But, good point.

Depends where you go. Racism is apparently a lot harsher here (I say apparently because I'm white so haven't exp., not because I doubt it).

Is Quebec really that bad?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh no need to do that, I mean, Disney has done pro-gay stuff so I'd believe there's some sentiment there, at least.

Ah hey, thanks.

either, just don't think their approach to science is necessarily comparable. (3/3)

stay in the science topics for those who are familiar with the subject, and discuss it less ambiguously. I mean, I'm not knocking on (2/3)

Emphasis on the genius though, where it's just 'wow Tony is so smart and beyond comprehension' whereas the show seems to (1/2)

Iron Man has never pretended to be all about geeks and science, though. The humor isn't derived from making science jokes that go over heads

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah, that's a fair complaint then.

Could you get away with 'that being said' after a semi-colon? I didn't even realize there was difference in those two phrases until now, lol

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really dumb complaint, but Sandslash isn't a rodent, it's an anteater/pangolin.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Disney seems to do that a lot. Most of the heavy characters either lost weight or are now dumb comedic relief. ANT Farm is a good ex. of it.
