How can one help these issues without time or money? My family is so utterly exhausted from school and work. Gas is so expensive that going anywhere outside of work and the grocery store is out of the question.

For some reason, large businesses in the southwest do not believe in the use of air conditioners in the summer. Even the customers complain.
The temperatures are in the 100s this week. My husband’s work refuses to turn on the ac. He’s been in the ER for heat exhaustion.
