Yeah, they would. Just depends on how broke and desensitized they are.
You would be surprised. They even sleep standing up at times. If they're well-broke, not a lot bothers them.
You would be amazed at how still/quiet they stand. Our team of draft horses stands super still and relaxed even in the loudest of places.

They can live up to their 30's, even into 40's. But their working life can be much shorter. Just depends on a lot of things.
It depends on the size, breed, what they are used for, care, etc... he's not young, but I wouldn't say he's super old either.

They sure can. We've only ever had one truly mean sow; she'd come after you if you even looked at her wrong. The rest of our girls are sweet
300 is small, market weight. We have some sows that are 600, a few 700.
So sorry for your loss. They will be great to pass along to your daughter down the road, I'm sure she will cherish them.
