i paid 800$ for the flight to japan, and inside japan i travelled with bullet trains, with 2 cards of 21 days (550$/card)
But 20$ is without the cost of hotels, or big attractions, just food and maybe transportation
In japan i did manage to talk japanese but not too good, my total spending for 3 months was 9000$, and on a normal day i would spend 20$ 2/3
I went on a 3 months trip to japan, after-army trip, i learn japanese before going there but never had a chance to speak out load 1/2
