if you are donating at a plasma center, it's because it doesn't matter with their fractionation process. only whole plasma matter for universal receiver/donor. I used to work as a nurse in plasma centers in the US. Whole plasma is what you get from a whole blood donation that is packed out into platelets, Whole blood, and Plasma. Plasmapheresis collection at a center is normally large batch fractionated.
