Old guy. Retired Doc. Cantankerous and opinionated liberal, mostly, and always amused by absurdity. Tolerant of legitimate ignorance, vicious when it comes to willful ignorance. That’s enough for now. Might delete this later.
What I’d like to know is whether Cheeto’s policies have also reduced pay for everyone overall, beyond the effect of inflation. My guess would be, “Yes!”So we’re ALL getting fucked, it’s just that women and minorities are getting fucked even more.
#14 I find this really distressing.
Remember to include school vouchers in this scenario.
Clearly not, as he’s obviously still on a leash.
Damn that bastard! Why wasn’t he paying attention?
I don’t want cassettes, I want the Discman back!

This comment is an insult to toddlers everywhere.
I can tell you’re beginning to relax. The quality/mood of your photos has changed. Also, I swear that #1 turned from icicles to palm fronds before my very eyes.
The Onion is filing suit for copyright infringement. They’ve decided to sue Canada in lieu of not being able to find any specific person who might be responsible.
If it’s a Republican or some other kind of MAGA sympathizer, of course they cheat. It’s right in line with “if their lips are moving, they’re lying! Every time. Full stop.”
Are there car restoration message boards or hobbyist websites you can go to and ask for advice?
Again, let me make this clear for those who just got to this point:If a Republican’s lips are moving, they’re lying. Every time. Full stop.
Nah, that would be the solid steel pipe constructed climbing gyms erected on either concrete or asphalt pads in every school playground I played in until 1963. Ok, occasionally they were on dirt, but it was dirt that had been packed down by thousands of of tiny feet.
@leifericson793 needs this recipe, I think.
You could even say that his middle name has violated his first name’s border.
“What are you doing, stepbrother?”
His politics are bad enough, but “Markwayne”???Really?
For some reason I read “cursed” knowledge as “Carnal” knowledge in my head and now I have a whole new scenario playing out.
And really pissed off about something!
Exile is far too lenient.Impeach him and convict him, then try him for treason and convict him and then send him to Leavenworth for the rest of his life.
(I grew up in Kalamazoo and had a beach place N of South Haven for years. I was kidding - but you had no way of knowing any of that.)
Hey, @OP, there’s an air museum called the Kalamazoo Air Zoo in my old hometown that has repaired and restored old WWII aircraft. Perhaps they’d be interested in a new project. They just finished an old Wildcat, I believe. They have a FB page as well.
You are very lucky. I’m envious. I was pretty sure that these were not Chicago or any other Lake Michigan beaches . . . At least not in March.
I refuse to engage in apocalyptic thinking. I am cynical and don’t believe that would be allowed by the people. The most recent polls have him 60-30 disapproval to approval respectively (NPR-Quinnipiac poll, I believe), and I trust those numbers. I think even the military has had enough of his bullshit. God help us if I’m wrong though.
I was gonna say, they’re better in red. You beat me to it. ⬆️
Just in general, and disregarding the specifics of Cheeto’s energy policies, all of his initiatives in every arena of his Federal overreach will cost time, talent and treasure to overturn, once the GOP/MAGA are deservedly and unceremoniously thrown out of office in the next 2 election cycles. The Dems will be hard pressed to move forward with any of their agenda items for the next couple of years after that because they’ll be spending all their energy undoing Cheeto’s disastrous decisions.
As an ER Doc, I used to counsel new parents that if they would just nurse or bottle feed a bay as the flight takes off and lands, their babies would be much more serene. They can’t clear their Eustachian tubes the way adults do.
I’m sending this to a friend who’s wrestling with the “Decision” about his chronically ill 14 yo Yorkie. Last week she looked miserable and they were a day or so away from the last Vet visit. Then she spent the next week like this dog in the clip.
That’s why you have an acetylene torch set up in the other pocket. People wear cargo pants for a reason, after all.
