Well, I asked first, but I'll share: In my professional work, I maintain a lot of end-user devices that are the responsibility of large manufacturers. I try to emphasize to every client that the flaws in these products are directly the result of Capitalist incentives to cut corners. I try not to use the C word because a lot of people stop listening after an ideological trigger word. Gotta make it about their needs and interests. I also put a large poster itemizing the warning signs of fascism.
That's a good statement to broadcast, yes. It would be especially meaningful if the protests involved the majority of individuals in a population. Imagine if more than half a city walked the streets shouting to all who will listen. Such coordination would be remarkable.
We need general strikes. That's what should be organized. Need to laser focus on cooperative food and shelter management so that mass boycotting of major corporations is actually an approachable concept. These branded protests feel like LARPing activism.
