The idea is just to be able to share the excitement. Particularly right now since some obs aren't even allowing spouses for ultrasounds.
To keep the surprise, some parents will have a friend or whoever get the information so they can legitimately be surprised for these.

Apparently my friend's cat only cooperated in the car while listening to The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up on audiobook
My favorite is still when an orange employee thought I wanted a blowtorch to somehow keep my plants from freezing overnight.

How warped matters less the shorter the length of the board you need. So small projects, it matters less

One of my pregnancy books recommends waiting until baby is a certain age but I don't remember which. Or how old.

Letting my dogs help unwrap Christmas presents has led my dogs to believe that all packages are for them.
I use mine about once a week to mass produce chicken for lunch so it's easily earned it's keep. Love that thing.
