Usually you can just get a cheap handle and a decent box of razors and it will do you well.
Plus, the joy of buying a 250 pack of blades for less than a 4 pack of cartridges.
I use one and it takes a little getting used to, especially if you don't wet shave often, but it's moslty about keeping a good angle.
Just moved to Detroit and I have yet to try one of these things. I need to fix that.
