with perhaps the exception of Eisenhower, the republican platform since Herbert Hoover has been to pull up the ladder behind them so us poors stay poors. it's the"F*ck you I got mine" strategy at work. It will destroy the country ever quicker, but so long as you can convince idiots that they did nothing wrong and the problem must be someone else, they'll vote for you to destroy their future
Ehh, billionaires ain't keeping it in bank accounts, they're keeping it in their portfolios and properties and every other thing they can claim has no value for taxation purposes. They get to hoard it in assets that double in value over a few years while most of us hope to have enough that the number in our accounts doesn't start with a minus sign.

Exactly, this is still going to have a chilling effect on freedom of the press. I salute the journalists willing to get themselves arrested to cover ongoing events, but I don't blame anyone in the media that's too afraid of getting disappeared
This is so horribly inappropriate. The French hate hanging things, they invented the guillotine to ensure there was no need for such things, also it saves on rope which is far more luxurious than they deserve.
I've literally never used the app because all apps are by definition bloatware. Why use the app instead of using firefox and adblock? It's a nicer experience as far as I'm told.

consider learning that. As an American we've long forgotten to know who we vote for. We simply have chosen how to vote, R or D, and given up any inbetween. Your officials might still listen to you, if you shout at them
