NGL #24 seems like very subtle Russian propaganda that got unknowingly picked up because it has a good message.

Not just that but also actively called out Chinese agents for trying to cover up things for an investigation.
Apparently the stunt was actually to 'prove' a river cleanup/sanitation project was going well. The river just happened to be holy.
One where those with lots of money get even more and those who don't get theirs taken away until they have just enough to not riot
Apparently some guy set himself on fire in front of the supreme Court for the same reason and we heard nothing. This got headlines.

If I remember correctly back in the 80s Saddam launched missiles full of mustard gas into this city.
Funnily enough I was raised religious, became atheist, then became religious/spiritual in a very different way later

Also is temporary. Last time Iran did this the banks gently informed the government that they need the internet to do business.
