Bud... hot mine= no pants
My pens always come out pristine with the buffing wheel start to finish each pen done in 30 min
Needs a knife change soon
My drill press was a lathe back in the day but I never thought to use it like that next time chuck it in your bench vise
Nice pens do you have a hard time polishing the resin ones if so get yourself a course cloth disk for your grinder I don't even sand my pens
My craft ex was 600 and was cheep compared to chisels grinder chucks on and on don't get into this sport unless you can spend buy one way
You forgot to mention that your stump has to be sopping wet green nice lathe too
It's so easy to do if you spin your thumb while you think

When turning old wood or delicate wood run your lathe as slow as she goes and a personal thing I do is keep sharpening your chisel

A buffing wheel set for a pedi stool grinder and some buffing compounds I had some pens mirror my reflection
I would have loved to see that process I made about 20 pens for Christmas But I just bought blanks as a personal discovery get yourself
Go to glass shop get a round piece of glass for the very centre drop some O-rings so it won't rub metal on glass
I've never liked modified cards ide rather neat proxys made digital

As a Canadian I liked it just as a flag looks better with out the towers
