Dogs need a lot of sleep and also a lot of lying around. Even up to 14 hours of sleep a day. Breed specific of course, if you have a high energy work dog that doesn’t apply. But for many dogs it’s fine to just relax during the day and then have fun when you get home.

Yeah, thanks to climate change it’s now raining all winter in Denmark. 1 degree Celsius, humid and strong winds is basically the worst weather and we get it all the time now.
