I disagree with the premise that you don’t go there for their food. As a native Georgian who has lived near the original location for most of his life, I can tell you that sometimes you just *need* those hashbrowns. They’re always there for you and always the same, ordered just the way you like.

Nah, because unfortunately you don’t stay passed out long. And being jerked back to consciousness by 10 level pain isn’t fun, let me assure you.
Can confirm. Badly ruptured a disc, and the ruptured material pressed against my spinal cord and sciatic nerve. My neurosurgeon was already in surgery so the ER basically kept me in a light coma for 6 hours until they could get me into surgery. I was on fentanyl, dilauded, Valium, zofran, and had a Percocet pump I could hit when needed. All of that and the pain would still break through occasionally and leave me moaning and screaming. Not fun.

Had one of these, and convinced my job I needed the PCMCIA Clik drive, which they bought, along with a bunch of disks. I went right out and bought the IOMega HipZip MP3 player that used the Clik disks. It was cool AF being able to play MP3s in my car in 1999.
And all over the south. Want an awesome, southern treat? Fried baloney on white with pimento cheese. Add some yellow mustard if you care to.
Not a believer, but an Atlanta resident. There are a number of churches in Atlanta like this. My wife attends a church that was founded by lesbians, and where a majority of the members are part of the lgbtq+ community. Their congregation is also very ethnically, abelly, and economically diverse. They march in protests for justice, for Pride, and actively support the community throughout Atlanta. I wish there were more like them.
