She likes how she looks, or at least says that often in public and I know of no reason to doubt. I can understand you having an aesthetic preference in others, perhaps try to spend that energy on seeing through others' eyes and enjoy that they enjoy things? There must be a line, if someone else enjoying things is causing harm then call it out. Perhaps you think that's the case here, that she is creating harmful visual stereotypes for girls? But then say that part rather than focusing on yourself

60 days and they do send you an email beforehand. Also if you want to be sneaky you can have another cron job that pushes a junk commit to the repo every 30 days or similar :)

1920s would almost certainly be something hand cranked so the frame rate wouldn't be perfectly stable.

Fun fact, before this image algorithm was used for cancer, it was used to identify pastries at a Japanese bakery.

This seems like a good use for it, no human should waste their time on these people even for a joke.

Guessing this is an anti-fraud check in the point-of-sale system itself. This text doesn't appear in any IKEA source repos that I can search :)

We also kept cancelling ships with enough power output to actually run them.

Doesn't look like AI so much as quick clone-stamping all from the same original prongs because it was a joke :)

Cats have TRPV1 receptors, you are either thinking of cats not tasting "sweet" (due to a faulty Tas1r2 gene) or that birds (and all non-mammals) lack TRPV1 and so don't react to capsaicin.

I say the same thing about the Scarlett Johansson reboot Ghost in the Shell. It's got a very different point to make than the original but it does have a point.

Yes, still in use in his bakeries too.

The photo with a person in it is not showing the 2019 discovery, that's a different chamber much closer to the surface (though still only open to researches). The cave system covers several hundred miles of passages and chambers.

Learning the Dali and Disney were buds was mind blowing. I'll add MC Escher to the list too, he died in 1972.

Extremely. It's the rare case of entertainment trying to tackle big questions about life and the world, and more or less sticking the landing.

Technically true but even with world-powering tokamaks it wouldn't touch the amount of helium we use :)

The price was artificially reduced as the US sold off its strategic reserve. The last of that hit the market in 2024 and we're already seeing new capture plants getting built as the price goes up. It's released in large amounts by any oil extraction or similar drilling, but just a lot of work to capture and purify. Non-renewable but we have lots, it was just being left to the atmosphere until recently.

Not only did all artists have to confirm not using generative tech, the application was actually not even in his own name (it was filled out by his girlfriend).

It's from before the internet was widespread and so you could actually get both shock value and narrative dissonance by a "twist" of the funny ha ha Jim Carey comedy slowly turning into something serious. The audience goes on the same journey as the character.

It turns out the rules are all made up and all the Actual Adults are too busy turbo-fucking the world to stop us.

Sadly no they didn't. In fact they affirmed that he can when such removals are lawful. Just that the circuit court was incorrect to deny the appeal on standing so they kicked it back down for that appeal to play out (with a possible further appeal back to SCOTUS).
