The numbers dont add up. Bitcoin would have had to gone up 6 times over to turn 30m into 190m. Its never done that in a week. (Went up less than 20% in past week, not 600%)

They're only homonyms to non Thais really. They have different spellings and when your ear is attuned to the different tones and vowel lengths they dont sound the same either. Some of those "K"s are actually Gs and theyre totally different to thais

Plus thai has long and short vowels

That lady has serious anger issues but the guy recording seems like a dick. Clearly saw he was annoying her so whips out his camera. Assuming he was driving below the limit, it would have been a lot safer to just increase a little than to record while driving and purposefully frustrate other drivers.

The Lavon affair in mid 50s - where mossad-directed Jewish Egyptians and Israeli operatives tried to bomb Jewish premises including a cinema and crucially US library and uk theater. They were caught and Israel, while simultaneously denying any involvement, threatened Egypt relentlessly if they didnt release their agents. Took them 50 years to admit it and they only did then so they could honour their "brave" agents. Israel is asshoe. And always has been.

Street vendors sell pineapple, mango and watermelon chunks that they cut in front of you in Thailand. Unfortunately they slide them into a plastic bag at the end anyway

Its also to just keep adding to the white noise - Putin has used this tactic for decades. The other side cant effectively contest everything. People are turned around and dont know what to believe.

Most kitchen staff dont wear gloves - hand washing is generally regarded as more hygienic than gloves unless gloves are changed out constantly (which in reality they arent)

If you mean Leo Varadkar stepping down as prime minister a few days after Biden visited Dublin - it was directly after having lost 2 referendums so more likely to do with that (a good few of his party colleagues resigned after the loss as well).

Yeah he might be talking about Beto O rourke previous time around where there was only a 2% gap but even that was over 200,000 votes. Cruz had always won relatively comfortably since that point which was why there were such high hopes Allred could do it in 2024

The whole point of what theyre doing is to take these rights from everyone. Move the line of what they can get away with slowly but surely.

Not true at all. I've been too old for this ever since I was too young for it

We've been talking about his cognitive decline since 2016 - it became a fairly major talking point in his 2020 run (Person, woman, man, camera, TV). There was plenty about it last year. it's had no effect on his base, largely because he was a complete moron to start with and luckily for him, he still seems coherent, doesn't get visibly confused like Biden did and knows its better to waffle about anything than to give in to allowing a thought escape him.

As long as Americans are happy to work for the same wages as Uighurs and other enslaved peoples around the world it's possible prices could come down

They have flooded everyone with so much to be mad about that something as massive as this isn't getting noticed. This transfer of wealth to musk and his cronies while depriving the most vulnerable would be the most reported on story under any other administration. There would be outrage. But they have managed to divert attention to Greenland, leaked war plans, trade wars etc. Etc. It's a propaganda masterclass straight out of Putins playbook that allows them to push through literally anything

My comment is clearly saying the opposite

Not any number of ceasefires. One. Three years earlier that ended up almost running straight into the ultimate one. This was the longest ceasefire that was underscored by a referendum on both sides of the border 3 years earlier for the good friday agreement and crucially, an agreement on decommissioning - lack of funding played no part in the IRA ceasefire.

Stock doubled in 6 weeks after the election and has given up nearly half of that gain since but the market still seems to be predicting Musk will benefit from his position despite a likely drop in desirability of his cars.

Troubles.had largely finished by 9/11. Omagh bombing of 1998 was the last major attack post the 1997 IRA ceasefire. Some smaller attacks from splinter groups but the IRA and provisional IRA had already agreed a specific decommissioning plan a month prior to 9/11.

The least bad one in a long time

The contract would be a 0.4% increase in revenue in 1 year. That isnt likely to have a significant effect on the share price of any company. Any any effect would be quickly reversed if and when the deal fell through.

It wouldn't directly have had any major influence on the share price. At even an unrealistic 50% margin it would have meant 0.02% increase in TSLA stock price. If market perceived it as showing additional future government sales being likely it would have a bigger effect but unless he dumped his shares before this announcement it would be of no benefit.

Right? We've had people telling us for 8 years that no way trump wpuld get in, 4 years ago that Maga was all just a bad dream, Trump is finished etc, and a few months of "it might not be as bad as we think". There is something very wrong fundamentally amd seems like wishful thinking and naive to think any of this will just go away. Its a dangerous theory too as people need to understand the importance of resistance in all forms and this could lead to people hoping to just wait it out.

It was common enough at music festivals in Ireland this summer.

Cigna also lost about 16% in value so wall street is probably predicting some industry wide impact.
Share price is a reflection of expectations of future profits so there seems to be a perception that shooting will result in lower profits going forward.

Everything he does is quality. His first solo album is quality and The Good The Bad and The Queen was a woefully underappreciated classic album. He's one of those people who is always trying to push himself and can make quality music in any style.

Yeah for her to go bankrupt in 2018 when almost every investment class had improved dramatically over the previous 9 years would suggest some seriously bad investment decisions or more likely scams like you suggest. Almost any investment strategy would have returned a gain over that period (although she could have lost the bulk in 2008 and whittled the rest down over 10 years)
