Man of Steel had a... slightly more reasonable Superman, compared to the extremes. I think Batman is consistent between film and comics
Yeah, he's the most obvious example of this problem. They've created planet-eating villains just to give him something to fight
I think comics are better when a conflict is developed around the hero, rather than making insurmountable odds then upping the hero to match
By this point, this mostly just showcases the ridiculous extents to which superpowers have billowed over the years.
