Apostrophes are for the weak.

Yes, though some people can get out of it. Specifically special forces, the number of seals on PEDs is extremely high.

I am all for not judging people on how they like their food or drinks prepared. You can have a steak cooked into a hockey puck and I won't bat an eye, or some top shelf whiskey mixed with coke. Whatever you enjoy. Ketchup on a hotdog however...

For that price point you're going to have to pull people away from the Italian exotics. Or other high end sports bikes. That riding posture sure isn't going to pull away Harley guys, or old dudes on gullwings. For that spend if I want something uncomfortable and fast, it needs to have a Ducati badge and make a great noise.

That hotel hasn't been built yet. The hotel pictured is the Fairmont hotel. There's more than one hotel already built at the palm (the big ass palm shaped island Dubai made). I'm not sure why this one would have been targeted. I'm assuming Iran believed some VIP would be there.

It can be both things. They are making damn sure someone doesn't get close to him. He may not be worried about his own safety, due to his ego and stupidity, the powers that be are aware and aren't going to let him kick it. He needs to serve at least two years, because then Vance can finish his term and be elected twice. If he dies before then Vance takes control but is only eligible to be elected once.

The French love to smoke so much they love to make cars that share the habit.

You mean you don't prefer your radar to be absolutely blinded by ground clutter?

Judging from the green condition, and their willingness to hit a driver on the green, it's probably not a very big course. Possibly eve a municipal. Which disrespecting a municipal course should be a jailable offense

You don't own a parrot, you live with one (and the parrot knows this).

Every time I see this I wonder if she paid for that target before sticking it to her forehead.

They sure don't. I had an 'anonymous tip' (which I believe was submitted by someone mad that a girl had been hanging out with me vs him) that I had a gun in my car. Refusing it wasn't an option. They did find a small pocket knife I'd forgotten was in there, but my VP looked at it, shrugged, and said 'doesnt look like a gun to me'. I shot in an amateur league on the weekends, so I guess the tipster was hoping I would still have my shotgun in my car for some reason.

While that (largely) worked during Vietnam call ups, I could easily see them just executing resistors if we have to do another call up under this administration. They'll probably close the bone spurs loophole, as captain bone spurs himself already knows that trick.

Have they started making the switch to 1250s? I know the French national police, along with most other agencies that run BMW bikes, used the R1200. In the US there's a special variant called the R1200T-P. They come up for sale occasionally at government auctions.

Lead free rifle ammunition is basically just copper or copper alloys. It's not suitable for all rifles due to the decrease in weight. Some barrels don't have a fast enough twist rate to stabilize those bullets effectively. Lead free shotgun ammunition is steel, bismuth, or very rarely tungsten. Older shotguns generally don't handle steel shot very well. Steel shot also doesn't pattern like lead does, so you need a tighter choke, but most shotguns can swap chokes in like ten seconds.

There are only two types of tools: hammers and pry bars.

Ah, yeah that's a lot more apparent. The only thing I can think of is it's a reference to some FM radio station local to the original creators area. There's probably a billion different stations. I've listened to probably three different stations broadcasting on 105.7

You do pick up on the vibes. I shot one wedding where the DJ was playing basically funeral music and it was tough to make anything out of the dancing shots. Drama was also a big concern. Typically people focus on the 'bridezilla' stuff but any big wedding has guests who were invited out of courtesy rather than desire. That's one reason I don't shoot weddings anymore, much less anything professionally. Sometimes a hobby is better as a hobby rather than being a job.

I'll be honest dude, I went over this entire dump twice, with volume on for all the videos. Where are you seeing 105.7 at? My autism wants to answer your question but I'm not seeing it anywhere.

He still does narration for deadliest catch, and he has done narration for a bunch of other programs. Unfortunately he has sort of fallen into the trap that supporting Republicans is the only way to support blue collar workers, particularly when it comes to raising the minimum wage. Rather than elevating blue collar workers pay he wants to denigrate what he considers unskilled labor.

I wish this was bullshit, but I have seen my local PD back down from fights over the first amendment several times because the person they were bullying was open carrying and didn't give in to their demands. It's a situation that probably only works if you're white, and it's problematic that it works at all, but I've seen it in Dallas more than once, all by the same dude.

If you need a calibrated plate that $3-5k is going to buy something that goes on the shop floor. The really precise plates go for a price that would make your eyes water and are held at a set temperature for hours before it's used. You know you're in for some serious metrology when you're not allowed to carry the tools to your workplace. They travel on a cart, also held to a certain temperature, and you hold the tools just long enough to take a measurement.

Mike Rowe did dirty jobs, which ran into a similar situation where they had kind of done it all. The mythbusters arguably ran out of ideas too. How it's made might have run out of things to cover that could be explained to a layperson in 20-30 minutes. These types of shows all run into the same problem, there's only so much content that can justify a return on the expense of a big budget show.

A good photographer will work with the bride and groom prior to the event to gauge wants/expectations. On the day you walk the venue to get a feel for lighting and what angles you want to shoot from and develop a plan, there's exposures for the bride/groom getting ready. There's the actual event itself. Then you have to go through and develop the exposures and doing touch upS, which is another day, minimum. It's way more than 4-5 hours. You're paying for several days of skilled labor.

Some current estimates place Russian KIA to be 25% of total casualties, however I wouldn't be surprised if the real number were closer to 30%. Russian tactics definitely favor just leaving casualties behind.

I passed a neighbor and commented on the border Collie he had. Unprompted he mentioned being worried about our apartments doing inspections because his dog had eaten through a large patch of drywall in his living room. I asked how often he took his dog to the dog park, so it could run around. Just got a blank stare in return.

Cape Buffalo have a much higher score than that. Amongst the big five African game they're referred to as 'The Black Death' because of how dangerous they are.

Meanwhile if I go anywhere without a pocket knife it feels disconcerting since I've carried one for like twenty years now.

The highest G-force survived (that we know about) is Kenny Brack I believe. It was an IRL (Indy Racing League, now known as IndyCar) incident and was over 210 G. It happened at Texas Motor Speedway and if you haven't seen video of it, it's absurd. He goes airborne, hits the catch fence, and his car just absolutely disintegrates down to individual bolts practically. He was injured but still conscious

Judging from the way he fell he was completely blindsided and probably had zero clue what just happened to him. If he wasn't wearing a helmet he could have easily died with the way he landed.

From the automotive engineers I know, they don't give a shit when engineering and don't make changes that they aren't required to even when it comes to large fleet orders, even for hard use cases. Take a look at the difference between the base crown vic vs the police interceptors and compare that to what stellantis does for their police units. Stellantis makes absolutely no changes if they can avoid it, even if they know parts have a history of failure.
