Yep. Hell, while most transphobia would get you downvoted here, if you wanna safely say something shitty about trans people on imgur, just complain about us being allowed to play sports. You'll usually stay in the positives.
Once in awhile one wins something and people freak out about it but then you look into it and that woman has been performing below average so far and just managed to eke out a win.
Whatever minute advantages a person might retain after the muscle mass loss are probably gonna be nothing at the top levels of any sport anyway. You think cis women in top level sports are average, physically? You don't get to compete at that level without being naturally advantaged towards it. Reminder that there are cis women who naturally have high enough testosterone levels to be disqualified.
Common misconception, actually. Generally, fascist countries have terrible services and infrastructure cus that's what happens when the country is run by machismo and a fragile ego.
It has exactly one moral: I should have all the power and never be criticized or punished for anything I do, and anyone I might sneer at as I walk past them down the street should be beaten, shot, or enslaved. It's why it can pivot around to so many positions, because this is the only consistent one. Me and mine should have everything and all privileges, and all people I don't like should be destroyed.
so basically if they have working legs or perhaps a wheelchair, they can arrest them for the crime of being a sp- er, illegal immigrant.
#11 "Has anyone ever had chatgpt tell them they were wrong?" Generally, no. That's the thing, chatbots are designed to never, ever disagree with you, or tell you they don't know. They will always give you a positive answer, even if it's 100% bullshit it just made up, or agreeing with you that you need more meth or that zeus really has commanded you to jump off a cliff.
and "What if I'm not good enough to do that art" then do art you are good enough to do! Be bad at it! Make crappy little games and silly little doodles for fun and enrichment and in so doing develop your skills! Even your terrible early art has more soul to it than AI slop!
Yeah, cus managers often avoid real work like the plague, and real work is generally what AI is so shit at.
Yeah this. calling this new thing "AI" is a marketing trick to make you think it's smarter than it actually is. It can't adjust the game on the fly for you like that, and when companies do pull something like that, it's a different kind of "AI" (akin to enemy AI, but that has nothing to do with LLMs.) Basically don't assume any two things that use the term "AI" have anything to do with each other, because frankly they probably don't.
"Critize tankies all you want" gotcha, will do. I'm a leftist in that I think capitalism is inherently a heartless, inefficient, suicidal system, but not in the sense that I think purges and purity tests are a good thing for a government to do. I would like to trade authoritarian kill squads and twitchy, racist cops for something actually different, thank you.
Yeah, some things can be debated. Some things are too obvious to be worth debating and I won't entertain it. Things like "Ivermectin cures anything that isn't parasites" or "The republican party isn't fascist" or "Being queer is evil." There's no possibility I will ever entertain any of those positions, so when I tell people they're wrong for those, it's not a debate.
it's how I feel whenever anyone brings up the "they just want you to retaliate so they can declare martial law" thing. So, what, armed goons will flood the city streets, executing anyone who dares stand up to them? We're already at that point, you can't threaten something you're already doing.
And they flipped out about that despite the fact that Aloy *still* looks more put together and groomed than she likely would be, given she's a survivalist hunter who spent most of her life poor and outcast. And who notably isn't terribly concerned with other people's opinions of her.
Yeah, the problem with regulated capitalism is that if money is power, well. Money attracts money, the powerful get moreso, regulatory capture happens aaaand you now have unregulated capitalism. It's a system that naturally gravitates towards oligarchy.
Yeah at this point the only avenue a common citizen has to effect change is the kind of things they'll shoot you for. Either major, serious protests and strikes where the point is a financial attack, not just visibility, those'll get you shot, or uh, other things I can't talk about on the internet.
Car-centric cities are a huge barrier too. You don't know your neighborhood cus you can't walk to anywhere from your neighborhood, so you don't know your neighbors. Fox news and that whole sphere of fascist misinformation is at fault too. I am absolutely cagey around my neighbors cus I can't necessarily be sure they aren't nazis. The very people I'd need to organize with to push back have a higher than safe chance of being sympathizers who will move to undermine my efforts.
If they did they would of course immediately be angry at how much worse our government treats its citizens. Those kinds of people will bitch about handouts while paying with an EBT card, they have zero sense of empathy or irony.
Couldn't've happened to a nicer asshole, but even worse things are obviously in store for Venezuela's people. Keep in mind, he usually puts people like them in concentration camps. he's not gonna stop just because it's literally their country.
Yeah, that is a slanted as fuck headline. "What they call?" Come on, man, this isn't even a grey area, they aren't even trying to justify it, this is just invading a sovereign nation for its oil, didn't even bother to make an excuse about nukes or bioweapons this time.
Yep. It shouldn't be available for entertainment use, it shouldn't be used in any professional capacity to shortcut reports, it has *no* business in the creative sphere, and widespread use of it requires more god damn server farms that are so disgusting they create noticeable air pollution in the area in the short term, to say nothing of the long term damage they do.
Tbh I think it's an example of why you shouldn't use AI at all. Especially not for a police report, which is meant to be a factual record of an incident, and should always, always, always be written by a human being.
Funny enough I have that problem with doctors. The signature move of the newbie resident is going "Oh yeah, they can get you a glass of water" to a very angry delirious patient who has "STRICT NPO!!!" written on the board in their room and then fucking off to leave nursing staff to explain that no, the doctor was wrong and just saying shit without checking.
Alright, alright, we'll pay the ransom. How much do we have to pay you for you guys to keep him?
It's done on purpose to shame you. The ownership class wants laborers to always feel like they are kind of unworthy of their pay, and so they give you this kind of crap to make you justify your existence to try and make you doubt yourself.
I'd put money on it. People don't brag about all the horrible things they don't do if they really haven't done any horrible things.
It'll make mail worse for everything. Taxes, rent, bills- normally, if you put it in the post before those things are due, they are considered on time. Doesn't matter if the USPS gets confused and sends that envelope 2000 miles in the wrong direction first, it was post marked early enough, it counts.
Just fuck the spider half's vagina, coward.
It's a response to a common bit of bad behavior called "JAQing off" (Just Asking Questions) where someone "Just" asks a string of very obvious questions over and over, playing dumb, as a way to try and waste your time or make you look stupid, or somehow damage your argument. So when someone asks a question that looks a little too obvious, a lot of people are quick to suspect it rather than get tricked again.
It's also why I hated the move to touchscreen tills so, so much when I did retail. When there were physical buttons, you could work the till without even looking at it for routine stuff, and it was lightning fast. With a stupid touchscreen, you *have* to look at it, and it's slower and also hurts your fingers cus you're constantly smashing them against a flat surface instead of a button with give. (the touchscreen is also always losing sensitivity)
