Same. I only ever see it on ol' southern boy's trucks. Far, far removed from the symbol it was in the war. Now it's just redneck pride.
At least for most of the people I saw flying it. Are there racists proud of the original meaning? Yes. But mostly it's just redneck pride.

Not really pro-confederate, but I'm southern born and raised. The confederate flag evolved to mean southern Redneck pride. It's far removed-

This!! I'm born and raised Southern. Very, very few people associated it with slavery. Mostly it was a Southern Pride thing.
my work early and would take out a book to read. Infuriated a lot of teachers, who would force me to sit in silence, doing nothing instead.

I hope this starts a discussion. I desperately want to know what people think about that.
Many people that collect hardcover books like this have a paperback copy for actual reading. (Like me.) Just enjoy the look on the shelves.
Some people just can't respect other's collections. I too enjoy the B&N hardback copies. I have paperbacks of them to actually read.
Putting out is not the same thing as the sexual intimacy OP seems to be craving. Try to be more open-minded.

I moved out at 19 (mother smoked) and went to visit two years later. Spent a week there, oh my god it was awful.
I LOVE when customers tell me 'You're wrong, it's not here!' when I'm looking right at it. Then act like I'm the one in the wrong.
New driver here. 99% of the pedestrians I see don't even bother to look. I know I'm supposed to be proactive, but help me out here!

Depends on where you look. The whites being offended on a PoC's behalf are trying really hard to be 'white allies'.
