Exactly right. Good catch.

That is an amazing point.

This is such a lovely illustration. It emits feelings of peace.

Exactly right!

At least in California, where teacher unions are securely in power, teachers struggle. I didn't know about other states. Ty.

How is it that the teachers union gets richer and fatter, while teachers are barely scraping by on barely liveable wages?

If an employer offers a wage and an employee accepts it, there is no injustice. If the employer can get someone at a lower wage, they will.

If you're making minimum wage your whole life, you're doing something wrong. Free yourself, gain valued skills, and make more.

Welcome to every society in the world, ever. Human nature is to seek more in life. Some are just better at it or got a head start.

This is just so wrong. I've known several people who grew up with nothing and became wealthy through ingenuity and hard work.

I haven't seen any mention yet of a universal basic income. Wouldn't that help alleviate the problem?

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you.

It's so sad seeing these franchises go under. They're just regular people trying to make ends meet. They're not the billionaire corporation.

Thank you. Does the state's average cost of living factor in to how much the minimum should be? Each state has different costs, right?

What should the starting wage be? Should it be federal or state mandated?

Why stop at $15/hr? Let's get that minimum to $30/hr.

I appreciate it. When I review the article, it lists 146 mass shootings since March 31. Their data only shows 4 mass shootings in that time.

I'm confused. Are we saying that all employers should give up all of their money so I don't have to work?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm confused. CNN report claims 45 mass shootings since March 16. The data they referenced, though, only shows 10 mass shootings.

The generally accepted concept of a mass shooting is three or more dead, apart from the shooter.

I had some cash to blow and I've always wanted to be a part of the art creation community, in some small way. ?

This piece cost me $100. The most I paid for one of these commissions was $130 and the least was $30.

I love this comment.
