Thank you for sharing your story with us 💜. We did similar for our old boy - the vet came to our house to help us say goodbye and it was as the most peaceful departure I could ever have hoped for. I hope the same for you, enjoy the memories, he was the best boy.
I think I saw someone else on Imgur say “grief is love but with nowhere to go” and that really struck me. Saying goodbye to our animal companions hurts in a massive way and now I understand why, and I couldn’t have it any other way.Enjoy your memories 💜
